TroyGould Represents Greenbottle Group in its acquisition of Cleveland Industrial Recycling
TroyGould advised Greenbottle Group in its acquisition of Ohio-based company, Cleveland Industrial Recycling (“CIR”). Greenbottle’s subsidiary, Slicker Recycling is one of the UK’s leading specialists in the recycling and treatment of waste lubricating oils.
High voltage metal recycling company, CIR, will be integrated into Greenbottle’s US business, Hydrodec of North America. Hydrodec collects and hydrotreats used transformer and naphthenic oils at its Ohio facility. The deal is Greenbottle’s most recent and second acquisition in the U.S., in a transaction that further increases its global footprint, and promises multiple carbon-cutting benefits for its customers.
The TroyGould team was led by TroyGould attorneys, Sherry Davaie and Ekong Udoekwere, each of whom have deep experience handling complex, cross-border transactions. Other attorneys on the TroyGould team included Darren Freedman, who provided transactional advice, Sharon Gold, who advised on intellectual property matters, and associates William Hubbard and Zamzama Azizi.
