Michael Tiab
Mr. Tiab serves as an Associate in TroyGould's Corporate Department. His practice focuses on capital markets transactions, SEC reporting, and ongoing disclosure matters for public companies. Mr. Tiab works with issuers and underwriters on public and private securities offerings, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, convertible notes, ATM programs, PIPEs, 144A, Reg A offerings, and registered direct offerings. Mr. Tiab also represents both public and private company clients with equity and debt financings, equity compensation, mergers and acquisitions, and as outside general counsel.
Mr. Tiab also advises clients on corporate governance and general corporate counseling matters, and has significant experience with foreign private issuer transactions. Mr. Tiab helps companies preparing for their public-market debut spot and address potential diligence and disclosure issues in the run-up to a securities offering, anticipate likely questions during the SEC review stage, and respond to them efficiently to avoid unnecessary review cycles.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining the firm in 2026, Mr. Tiab served as an associate in the Public Companies Group at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP in San Francisco.
