Robyn L. Roth leads the Real Estate Department at TroyGould, where she specializes in transactional matters spanning both residential and commercial real estate. Known for her discretion, precision, and personalized client service, Ms. Roth represents high-profile clients -- including entertainment industry leaders -- in multimillion-dollar property deals, real estate finance, construction project agreements, complex title issues, leasing matters, and the creation of privacy-focused ownership structures. Whether negotiating a $100 million residential sale or resolving a thorny boundary dispute, her strategic and solution-driven approach consistently delivers results.
As department head, Ms. Roth oversees a team providing end-to-end legal services across both transactional and litigation matters, ensuring seamless client support at every stage.
In addition to her real estate practice, Ms. Roth advises clients on a range of business law matters, including corporate structuring and governance, debt and equity financing frameworks, employment and confidentiality agreements, and entertainment-related financing transactions.
Before joining TroyGould, Ms. Roth was a partner at Gipson Hoffman & Pancione, and was previously a partner in the Corporate Department at the boutique entertainment law firm Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal LaViolette Feldman Schenkman & Goodman LLP. She began her legal career as an associate in the Real Estate Department of Morrison & Foerster LLP.
Ms. Roth is also the co-author of REMODEL THIS! A Women’s Guide to Planning and Surviving the Madness of a Home Renovation (Penguin/Perigee 2007) and has been featured in media outlets such as The New York Times, Oprah.com, and Wisconsin Public Radio. She is a frequent speaker on real estate, corporate entertainment law, and entertainment finance, with appearances at the Beverly Hills Bar Association, UCLA Anderson School of Management, USC’s Institute on Entertainment Law and Business, and the Worklaw Annual National Conference.
An active member of the Los Angeles legal and civic community, Ms. Roth has served as an officer of the L.A. County Bar Association’s Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Section, and as co-chair of its Annual Symposium. She is an alumna of the Anti-Defamation League’s Salvin (now Glass) Leadership Program and has served on the ADL’s Legal Affairs and Entertainment Committees. She is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of Friends of Levitt Pavilion–MacArthur Park.
A Los Angeles native, Ms. Roth grew up in the city’s iconic Laurel Canyon neighborhood, and she enjoys a good game of pickleball.
