Concoff in Cannes

Gary Concoff was quoted in a Reuters entertainment blog on May 18, 2010 about the film market in Cannes being tempered by caution. The story quoted several major players in the market who are buying and selling movies, saying they are moving ahead with cautious optimism that tough times may be near an end.

Concoff, who was co-chair of the 2010 International Film Finance Forum in Cannes, said one of the key topics of the film finance program was limiting risk. Concoff said a similar program in 2008 was nearly canceled due to low attendance, but, this year's program was sold out.
