On February 29, 2008, Gary Concoff moderated a panel titled Completion, Delivery & Worldwide Distribution: Navigating Choppy Waters and Solving Common Missteps, at the UCLA 32nd Annual Entertainment Symposium – When Disaster Strikes: The Ultimate Survival Guide.

In connection with his panel, Gary wrote "Motion Picture Completion Guarantee Structure," which was included in the syllabus.
